Hi and welcome to A L E X Λ N D R A  Australia.

Alexandra is my birth name but to my friends and family (and you) I'm Lexi! 

I'm a Melbourne girl, a Francophile and more recently an amateur photographer.

In 2017 I launched my business A L E X Λ N D R A  Australia. 

It came about when I realised my income from my marketing job wasn't able to keep up with my love for all things fur and feathers.  This began my quest to find high quality and stylish fur and feather statement pieces that I could not only love but also afford.

Since then our fur and feathers collection has flourished so much that we've expanded into bridalwear, custom-made pieces and even faux! 

Today the A L E X Λ N D R A range has evolved further to include on-trend statement pieces and effortless elegance such as gorgeous skirts and edgy flats. We also have the rapidly growing ALX Basics range which has become my favourite collection to work on. My stylish friends and family members provide me with constant inspiration as they go about their hectic lives, juggling young families and demanding careers yet always on the lookout for stylish and practical designs.

Running the A L E X Λ N D R A business requires me to travel extensively throughout Asia, the manufacturing hub of the world. I am lucky to spend time in China, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand in search of the best fabrics, accessories and ethical factories to work with. While all items are created at the A L E X Λ N D R A headquarters in Melbourne, the bulk of production is in China. China was an easy decision as it has the best fabric choices, professionalism and speed. I now make bi-annual trips to Guangzhou and never get tired of spending days on end at the 7-level fabric market and visiting our wonderfully friendly manufacturers.  

As an up and coming designer with a growing business, I am involved in every aspect of my business and love getting to know my wonderful, supportive and stylish customers. Enjoy xx
